The location is the most perfect possible. You can get up in the morning, get breakfast, cross the street( be careful not to get hit by a car, the lane's change direction during the day. Look both ways!), and be at the famous Copacabana Beach! It is safe to walk around during the day. At night stay where the lights are. Do not exchange dollars at the airport or at the Hotel, just use your ATM card at one of the banks, you will get the best rates. The Hotel is clean and small, the pool is a joke but the view from where the pool is located is amazing. When leaving the hotel door walk to the right and there is a restaurant across the street with all you can eat appetizers for $* per person. So don't worry. You are safe. Enjoy your stay, because the Rio de Janeiro

The location was great but the room was small. The standard had no view. Bed was hard as a rock and the bathroom needed some love and a good scrub. I guess if the price is right, the location is so great I would recomend if it was a short stay. Staff was nice and the complementary breakfast was good.

my husband and i stayed here for 2 nites. we were on the 7th floor and we had an excellent view of copacabana with sugarloaf mountain. the room that we had was spacious, clean and met our expectations. breakfast was decent and plentiful. they kept refilling the trays and staff were kind to cook ur eggs the way u want it. what a nice gesture! some front desk staff are helpful, and others are surly, not a big deal. it's right on the beach and free wifi.....just bring ur laptop. they also have business center on 2nd floor.

Ideal location to enjoy two beaches. Orla is at the end of Copacabana and 5-6 blocks away from Ipanema. Front desk staff was very helpful in arranging tours and ground transportation at the best prices. Rooms are clean but are due for a paint job. Good breakfast included.
